Correspondence and papers re a bequest to New Hall from Dorothy Shena, Lady Simon of Wythenshawe [whose daughter-in-law, Daphne Simon, nee May, was at Girton College 1949-52] of half of the residue of her estate, the other half to go to Newnham College [c. £55,000 each].
