Letters concerning John Honer's areas of responsibility as architect, 2008
Scope and Contents
Two letters from John Honer to Alison Wilson, 20 and 24 January 2008, concerning the fact that he was known variously, at the time of construction of the original buildings of New Hall, as Associate-in-Charge, Project Architect or Executive Architect, not as 'site architect', the title by which he feels Frank Woods has encouraged people to refer to him, and the fact that FW did not join the practice of Chamberlin, Powell and Bon until 'after the design was completed and the construction drawings were well under way'; together with photocopies of parts of contemporary articles underlining the title by which JH was known in relation to the New Hall building project.
