Scope and Contents
Copy of script of BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour, 27 November 1973, which was transmitted from the Guildhall in Cambridge and whose guests included Rosemary Murray and Jean Barker [later Baroness Trumpington]; together wtih BBC Written Archives copyright declaration, 22 October 2009. The script covers only part of the broadcast, as much of the time was devoted to live interviews, including Rosemary Murray. The file also contains 'Rosemary Murray on Woman's Hour: A Personal Recollection by Ben Duncan', 2009, 3pp typescript. [Ben Duncan was at the time a freelance journalist and broadcaster and a frequent contributor to Woman's Hour.] He says 'I am writing this to accompany the BBC script for the Woman's Hour programme - - - I will attempt to fill in - - - the parts of the programme that are not included in the script'.
