Papers relating to Downe House School near Newbury, Berkshire [Rosemary Murray was a governor of the school, 1949-1976, including a period as chairman of the governors], including: copy trust deed re Downe House School, 1944; minutes of the 66th meeting of the governors, 7 July 1965; correspondence and papers re general matters relating to the school and in particular to the appointment of headmistresses in 1963 and 1967; and a verbal report, June 1975, by HM Inspectors (Department of Education and Science) to the governors of the school on their inspection of the school in mid-November 1974.
