Biographical / Historical
Miss Alison Duke, a Classicist, taught for New Hall for a number of years and was a member of the New Hall Association. A long standing Fellow of Girton College, she was Girton's Senior Life Fellow as at April 2005 and is a major benefactor of Girton College, having made a significant contribution to the Library extension opened in April 2005 and named after her. Further Duke papers, particularly those relating to Girton College, are held at Girton College.
