Correspondence and papers concerning New Hall participation in BES [a scheme whereby student accommodation was sold to a private company and repurchased after five years, the money raised being invested in high interest stock in the meantime, raising an expected half million pounds or so], including reports by various College officers, Bursar's memos, press cuttings concerning the scheme generally and reactions to it in other colleges; correspondence with Taylor Vinters, solicitors; and printed published memo on the Second Cambridge Collegiate Consortium BES [which comprised Fitzwilliam College, New Hall, Robinson College and St Catharine's College].
