Correspondence and papers re donations and bequests, corporate and personal, of money and objects, including the following in particular: furnishings; artwork; list of benefactors as at c. 1970 (corporate and personal); correspondence with St John's College (a regular and generous benefactor - £40,000 donated in 1970-71 alone more than doubled the College's endowment, and John's continued to be a regular donor during the 1970s, also donating money for research fellowships and studentships in the early 1980s) and other colleges including Jesus, King's and Trinity; list of furniture on loan from Dame Rosemary Murray October 1981; Roche Venezuelan award for a postgraduate student, 1971; Olga Vlasto memorial travel grant 1971; garden seat in the gazebo (Darwin Aviary) in the Fellows' Garden in memory of Charlotte Hess, 1992-93; legacy of £1,000 from Dr John Boys Smith, 1994; visit to New Hall by the Indian High Commissioner to plant trees 1996.
