An appeal to women artists was launched in 1991 alongside a fundraising campaign in order to improve the environment against which to set publicity for the fundraising. The papers and photographs listed here record the establishment and administration of the collection and exhibitions held of the work of individual women artists. Successive Curators of the collection have been as follows: Jenny Teichman (1986-97); Jonathan Herring (1997-99); Christopher Stevenson (Acting Curator 2000-01); Aya Soika (2001-05); Sarah Greaves (acting Curator 2005-08); Amy Jones (six months in 2008); Amanda Rigler (2008-11); Sarah Greaves (Acting Curator 2011-2015 ); Eliza Gluckman (2015 - ). Sarah Greaves has also been Art Administrator since 2004.
