Exchanges of correspondence principally concerned with various aspects of Hamson’s professional life. Some correspondence was found in separate envelopes labelled with a named individual or reference and these items have been listed alphabetically using the same name or label. Other correspondence is listed under ‘miscellaneous’ as these letters, often involving only a single letter, were found bundled together in a single envelope.
