Garrett, Mrs. Garrett and Edward Seabrooke Daniell (c. 1879-1952). This conference, which took place at Budo in March 1915, was held in order to determine a policy for the training of teachers in Uganda and resulted in King's College, Budo retaining its elite status: shortly afterwards five grades of teacher were established by the Board of Education, with those at the top of the scale being termed Budo teachers.
