Scope and Contents
Arthur Smith's papers comprise a diary, 1902-3, made at Jesus College, Cambridge; MS record of races run, 1906-08; typescript record of athletics achievements, 1896-1908; biographical memoir; and an obituary by Ashley Rowe. Smith's brother's papers consist of typescripts: Lists of journeys, 1910-32; Journal in Argentina, 1914; Journal in the Falkland Islands, 1915 (incomplete); Journal in Uruguay, 1916; and a Sea voyage back to England, via Madeira, Canaries, undated. The papers also contain undated typescripts of 'A day on Dartmoor' and a 'Diary of a trip to the exhibitions in Paris: Basle: Dusseldorf and The Hague'.
