23 letters from Housman to S.C. Roberts, 22 Jan. 1926 - 17 Aug. 1933. There are also letters from Housman to R.S. Parry, no. 1, 17 Jan. 1926; from Mrs. Mildred B. Platt to S.C. Roberts, no.11, 17 June 1927; from A.F. Scholfield to Housman, no.13, 6 Aug. 1929; from Housman to G.R. Barnes, no. 23, 30 Aug. 1931, and a note by Housman, no. 20, 15 Dec. 1930. The letters of 1926-1927 concern the publication of J.A. Platt's Nine Plays, to which Housman wrote a preface. The other letters relate to Housman's own publications.
