Scope and Contents
Album containing printed title page and twelve mounted prints measuring approximately 290 x 235 mm., and showing scenes in and around the Exhibition Buildings. All the photographs have brief printed captions. The title page in full reads: 'Under the Patronage of His Excellency Sir Arthur E. Kennedy KCMG., C.B., twelve photographic views of the Second Intercolonial Exhibition held in Brisbane, Queensland August 21 1877, under the auspices of the National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland. By Geo P. Wright, Group and Landscape Photographer to his Excellency, Brisbane. Cleghorn, Printer, Brisbane.'

George Parkinson Wright was a commercial photographer active in Queensland, Australia in the 1870s and 1880s. Wright had studios at: Fortitude Valley 1874-1878; Creek Street, Brisbane 1878-1881; 162 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane 1882; Roma Street, Brisbane 1883.
