Correspondence, 1923-1925, regarding the Cambridge meeting of the I.A.U. on 14-22 July 1925, including letters relating to the date, agenda, invitees, schedule, visit and entertainments, and correspondence concerning the meeting of the National Committee of Astronomy to discuss resolutions to be presented to the I.A.U.
Correspondence, 1934-1938, regarding the Paris meeting of the I.A.U. in 1935, including letters requesting information on the work of the Royal Observatory for inclusion in the Paris reports; discussion on the membership of various Paris committees; and discussion on the date of the Stockholm meeting, the transfer of the International Latitude Bureau, the plight of Professor Plager of the Berlin Observatory, and the printing costs of the Bulletin. There is also a report of the Commission on Gaussian Constant K.
Miscellaneous correspondence concerning the I.A.U., 1924-1930, including replies to the reports of various observatories on their meridian work, 1924-1925, and correspondence concerning the state of the Paris Observatory, German astronomers joining the I.A.U. conference at Leiden, the Astrographic Catalogue and proposals to move the Radcliffe Observatory to South Africa.
Miscellaneous correspondence concerning the I.A.U., 1930-1934, including letters relating to the Astrographic Catalogue, applications for grants, the I.A.U. trip to Montreal for the eclipse of 1932, Dyson's visit to America, German astronomers joining the I.A.U., the situation of Perrine at the Cordoba Observatory in Argentina, and the Latitude Commission.
