The University Archives are generally freely available to the holder of a reader's ticket for the Department of Archives and Modern Manuscripts, Cambridge University Library, West Road, Cambridge CB3 9DR. The board has had the following changes of name: Board of Legal Studies, 1873-82; Special Board for Law, 1882-1926; Faculty Board of Law, 1926- .
