The board has had the following changes of name: Faculty Board of Oriental Languages, 1926-68; Faculty Board for Oriental Studies, 1968-2007; Faculty Board of East Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, 2007- . Eric B. Ceadel, member of the Faculty and University Librarian, assembled these copies.
