This section contains records relating to productions and performances staged by CUADC from the earliest years of its existence, mostly at the ADC Theatre but also elsewhere, including programmes, posters, press reviews, occasional photographs and scripts, and related records. There are also records of productions and performances staged by other theatre groups at the ADC Theatre including the Footlights Dramatic Club, the Marlowe Society, Cambridge University Opera Society, the University Actors, Cambridge University Mummers, Independent Theatre, and various College theatre groups and touring groups.

The records are far from complete. Researchers may need to consult two concurrent series to trace an individual production or performance - alongside the series records relating to individual productions (arranged by academic year and typically covering a single date) is a series of records relating to more than one production, that is records covering a span of dates, comprising bound volumes of photographs and programmes, assorted scripts, unidentified photographs, and newspaper cuttings and reviews.

This section also contains records relating to production management at the ADC Theatre, records created by technical and stage management crew, and by producers.
