Scope and Contents
This series comprises material relating mainly to Bateson's laboratory experiments at the Sub-Department of Animal Behaviour, Madingley, to investigate the environmental and developmental conditions which shaped imprinting in chicks. Comprises: research notebooks, including those of research assistants; background literature; index cards relating to a proposed monograph; 1969 imprinting film and copies of the same.
