Exhibition Building, 1870 - 1880
Scope and Contents
210 x 152 mm. A view of the baroque building, with its dominating fan-shaped window above the entrance, which was built for the 1870 exhibition, celebrating Captain James Cook’s discovery of Botany Bay in 1770. The building was situated in the Prince Alfred Park behind the railway station and was demolished in 1954 in order to build a swimming pool.
