Letter to Mother [Lizzie Rose] from Dolly [Dorothy Rose], 4 July 1902
Scope and Contents
Dorothy writes that she had a card from Carl sending her mother 6 kisses [Carl is possibly Carr, son of Charles Sherrington]; she hopes she enjoyed the journey and strawberry party and that the flowers are nice (Ethel [Sherrington] says she did not see them but that they had said they were sending good ones); Margaret [possibly Radford] wants her to stay with them instead of them coming here; and she had just written to Carl.
She sends love to Granny [Anne Brookes Rose] and to Elizabeth [possibly Anne Brookes Rose’s nurse].
