Letter to Auntie Marian [Rose] from Dorothy [Rose], 29 December 1898

Sent from 2 Abby Crescent, Torquay. Thanking her for the target and darts (which was one of the best presents of many she received). She writes that Father [Edward Rose] gave Mother [Lizzie Rose] a camera; they stayed at Ipswich for Christmas, and are now at Torquay for the rest of her holidays; her parents gave her roller-skates and she had been on the pier as there is a rink and they can also be hired for 6d an hour.
