Scope and Contents
Comprises a souvenir of the 200th performance of “The Admirable Crichton” by J. M. Barrie, produced at the Duke of York’s Theatre under Charles Frohman on 4 Nov 1902.
Contains reproductions of oil paintings of characters in the play by Chas A. Buchel, a map of Crichton’s Island and a reproduction of a signed list of the cast and others involved with the play. The signed list includes the signatures of Charles Frohman, J. M. Barrie, Henry Kemble, Gerald du Maurier, Clarence Blakiston, Carter Pickford, J. C. Buckstone, H. B. Irving, Compton Coutts, Irene Vanbrugh, Sybil Carlisle, Muriel Beaumont, Fanny Coleman, Margaret ?, Pattie Browne, Bernard Partridge and Dion Boucicault.
The souvenir was produced and published for Charles Frohman by Carl Hentschel Ltd.
