Typescript notes prepared by the series producer, Tony Cash on the theme and outline of the fifth programme - 'Beethoven: the Composer as Hero' - in the six-part 'Classical Vienna' series, with comments by Sadie. Also included are a series of three draft scripts showing comments and amendments by Sadie. It is thought the original script was written by Michael Thomas Murphy. Subsequent re-writes incorporate comments from Sadie, the director, Michael Darlow, the series narrator, Bamber Gascoigne and from Denis Forman who commissioned the series and at the time was Chairman of Granada Television.
