Selected private and confidential correspondence between Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd, Matheson & Co. Ltd and Henry Waugh & Co. Ltd (and its successors) regarding particular subjects, with some semi-official, personal and other correspondence between the companies and other letters and papers. Most of the letters are copies, but there are also some original letters. Some files are comprised solely of non-correspondence.
