Scope and Contents
Copies of two unnumbered semi-official letters, 24 January-7 February 1950, and semi-official letters nos 1-2 from F.A. Pollock, Jardine Matheson, Tokyo, to L.G. Frost, Jardine Matheson, Tientsin, 20 February-30 May 1950. Pollock's letter of 24 January 1950 encloses a draft letter to Frost of 25 January 1950 regarding soya beans negotiations. There are also copies of telegrams exchanged between Jardine Matheson, Tokyo, and Jardine Matheson, Tientsin, 19-23 January 1950. The ring-binder is labelled 'File I'.
