Scope and Contents
Copies of semi-official letters from Jardine Matheson, Shanghai, to Jardine Matheson, Swatow: nos 1-5, from R. Gordon and H.H. Lennox to M.J. Henderson, 27 January-21 September 1951, and 6, from R. Gordon to Yew Ah Kow, 1 August 1952. There are also three other letters from Jardine Matheson, Shanghai, to Jardine Matheson, Swatow, 18 and 22 July 1952 and 2 August 1952, and a memorandum from D.K. Wei, Shanghai, to the Private Office regarding Chinese chops for the Swatow Branch, 24 January 1951. The folder is labelled 'File I'.
