Scope and Contents
Semi-official correspondence between Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong, and Jardine Henderson Ltd, Calcutta, with some enclosed papers, regarding shipping matters, particularly the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co. Ltd. The semi-official letters from Calcutta are originals; the semi-official letters from Hong Kong are copies.
1. Nos 1, 1A and 2-9 from D. Fordwood, Calcutta, to M.A.R. Herries, Hong Kong, 18 March-23 August 1966. Nos 1 and 1A have been numbered in pencil. No. 1 is addressed at the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co. Ltd, Jardine Henderson Ltd, Agents; no. 1A is addressed at the Shipping Department, Jardine Henderson Ltd; and nos 2-9 are addressed at Jardine Henderson Ltd.
2. Nos 1-6 from M.A.R. Herries and R. Shoppee, Hong Kong, to D. Fordwood, Calcutta, 30 March-3 September 1966.
