Scope and Contents
Copies of semi-official letters from Jardine Matheson, Kunming, to Jardine Matheson, Chungking, with a few enclosures:
1. Nos E.1-8 from E.H. Brazel to H.H. Lennox, 18 December 1944-5 March 1945.
2. Nos 55-72 from E.H. Brazel and C.F. Stockar to H.H. Lennox, 2 January-13 April 1945.
There is also a memorandum by P. Morrison on the Kunming agency for the period 23 April-1 May 1945, dated Chungking, 5 May 1945.
The file includes the following subjects (among others):

F: Foo Shing Trading Corporation.
K: Kunming Agency.
L: Ledo Road.
M: P. Morrison (staff).
O: Office and living accommodation.
S: S.V. Sherbin, staff; staff salaries.
Y: Yun Foong Paper Manufacturing Co. Ltd; Yunnan Cotton Mill; Yu-Tien Cotton Mill.
Many of the letters are on the letter paper of the Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd.
