Copies of semi-official letters nos 18-39, 41-60, 62 and 63 from R.M. Austin, B.D.F. Beith, R. Gordon, J.H. Keswick, W.J. Keswick and G.W. Sheppard, Jardine Matheson, Shanghai, to T.S.H. Hoey, O.V. Lanning, P.C. Mansfield, T.W. Pan, A.M. Scott-Morris and Y.L. Tu (Tu Ying Luan), Jardine Matheson, Wuhu. There are also two letters regarding the imminent arrival of T.S.H. Hoey as I.F. Drysdale's replacement as Wuhu agent: an extract from semi-official letter no. 17 from Shanghai to Wuhu, 20 March 1929, and a copy of a letter from Islay F. Drysdale, Wuhu, to J.J. Paterson, Jardine Matheson, Shanghai, 25 March 1929. The subjects covered in the file include (among others) accounts, the Ewo Brewery, shipping and staff. The ring-binder is labelled 'Ports. To Wuhu. General'.
