Scope and Contents

The documents include opium sales accounts; a memorandum regarding receipts of the 'Glengyle'; a memorandum of claims on cargo on steamers of the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co.; memoranda of risks taken in the Canton Insurance Office; a sketch map of property lots in the vicinity of Chinkiang; and memoranda regarding grey shirting. The documents include reference to William Bean; J.M. Canny; Li; A.W. Spencer; fabric and freight.
