Scope and Contents

The documents are dated 1848-1856 and undated, and include memoranda regarding the numbering, quality and weight of opium shipments; opium stock accounts; delivery notes for opium; memoranda of opium imported and exported from Cumsingmoon; daily returns of opium; and memoranda of opium clearances by Chinese. The documents include reference to Joseph Jardine; George Langley; William Thom; C. Willson; 'Audax'; 'Cama Family'; 'Falcon'; 'Lady Hayes'; and 'Nimrod'.
