Scope and Contents
Memoranda and accounts (in Chinese and English) regarding the administration of the affairs of Sun Yee, in receivership, and the suit against him, dated Hong Kong and no place, including a report on the accounts of the Makok godown; notes on a payment for an opium licence in Macao; a memorandum on the commission on the sale of Sun Yee's properties and the licence of a prepared opium farm; a statement regarding Macao property received; a memorandum for the Registrar of the Supreme Court; lists of outstanding accounts; a memorandum regarding conditions upon which the Receiver will accept tenders for the purchase of prepared opium in San Francisco, Melbourne and Sydney; particulars of prepared opium in San Francisco; a memorandum of contents and chops of prepared opium in San Francisco, Melbourne and Sydney; a memorandum of the estimated monthly expense of the Sun Yee Hong; memoranda regarding interest tendered and received; and remarks on the receiver's account by managers of the Chap Sing Company. The documents include reference to Tai yik; William Keswick; and Suit 10.
