Documents from Kanagawa, Kobe, Nagasaki and Yokohama, including analyses of import, commission, charges, duty and other accounts; accounts with 'Glover & Co'; accounts with Browne & Co., with a bill from the 'Kobe Advertiser & Shipping Register' office; statements of a telegraph account; a memorandum of loss sustained on a shipment of sugar; a memorandum of charges on curios; a memorandum of G.L. Montgomery's expenses for a trip to America; particulars of Yokohama branch salaries; accounts regarding Jardine, Matheson & Co.'s Nagasaki agency; memoranda regarding deliveries, sales and shipments of Takasima coal, with memoranda of allotments of Takasima employees; memoranda regarding weight and charges of treasure; memoranda of payments made on account of Edward Bibby, James Whittall and others; memoranda of brokerage on policies effected in the Canton Insurance Office; accounts and memoranda regarding tea-firing; a memorandum of outturn of goods from London on account of a contract with the Navy Department of the Japanese government; a memorandum of charges on rugs, rice and other commodities; memoranda of wages and petty expenses; and memoranda of accounts with H.P.
