The documents include a memorandum of disbursements of J.J. Keswick; memoranda regarding costs of shares in the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co.; a copy of a new despatch from 'Our Tientsin Correspondent' concerning a Japanese Embassy; sales accounts of hemp and other merchandise; a memorandum of wages and petty expenses; analyses of godown, charges, and commission accounts; a memorandum of amounts paid to J. Livingston & Co., with receipts; a memorandum of expenses regarding the repair of property in Tientsin; and memoranda regarding coolie hire. The documents include reference to Henry Beveridge; E. Cousins; J. Boyce Kup; and diplomacy.
