Memoranda and accounts: Amoy, 1859-1864
Scope and Contents
The documents include stock and sales accounts of opium; a general stock account; memoranda of Canton Insurance Office premia; memoranda of the cost of tea and bricks; a pay list and disbursements account; a table of the imports of goods at Amoy by British and foreign vessels in the years 1844-1861; a comparative statement of the export of teas from Amoy for the season 1861-1862; and a statement of errors in R.B. Davies' accounts from July 1858 to June 1860. The documents include reference to Henry Beveridge; M. Fitzgibbon; George Rorie; Henry Smith; and fabric.
