Scope and Contents

Memoranda, including outturns, regarding bullion, treasure and specie, mostly daily returns apparently showing stocks and payments of various currencies. Some of the documents are dated Hong Kong and Sydney, but most have no specified place (probably Hong Kong). The documents include reference to Charles Hodgson; George Macalister; William Thom; 'Mazeppa'; Cadiz; gold; and silver.
