The documents include reference to James Cook; Augustine Heard & Co.; Lane, Crawford & Co.; Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co.; United States Navy; 'Spark'; Macao; Shanghai; Whampoa; Taku; coal; godowns; sherry; shipping; and wine.
