Scope and Contents
Comparing the contents with the 1798 catalogue, items there catalogued as A-D and F are missing. These were: A Dr S's lease to Cooper, with copy; B Tenants letters; C Receipts; D Estimate of carpenters work at the Printhouse; F Halley's account of the farm of Norland in 1704, purchase of Thurleigh and Riseley, description of same, rental of lands in Bedfordshire, copy of an instrument in the Registry, fragment of Professor Colson's letter of Nov. 1753 mentioning same, fragments of accounts Michaelmas 1753 and Lady Day 1755, three mathematical books of Dr Keill in parchment covers.
