Letter of condolence from Helen Wirgman, 5 Nov. 1915
Scope and Contents
Hamo Sassoon was commissioned in the Royal Engineers. He was mortally wounded at Gallipoli on 28 October 1915 and was buried at sea on 1 November 1915. The letters include three from Hamo while with the Royal Engineers and two from Siegfried Sassoon following his brother's death.
