Letters to Theresa Sassoon from her son Hamo Sassoon and from other individuals, including Siegfried Sassoon, following Hamo's death in action, 1915-1916
Scope and Contents
Hamo Sassoon was commissioned in the Royal Engineers. He was mortally wounded at Gallipoli on 28 October 1915 and was buried at sea on 1 November 1915. The letters include three from Hamo while with the Royal Engineers and two from Siegfried Sassoon following his brother's death.
