William Morris Mousley: 'A legend of Ashby Vale' (poem), [1846-1850]
Scope and Contents
Two page manuscript poem, including the ballad 'Geraldine's song'. It was published by Mousley in his 'Poems, lyric and heroic' (1850), where it is described as having been written when an undergraduate ‘during some of the leisure hours of a college course’.
