Small leather-bound diary with entries for Dec. 1919 - Feb 1920 (American and Canadian tour), one entry in April and a few Aug.-Sep.; primarily notes on social engagements. At the front, names and addresses of American and Canadian contacts. Includes note: 'Don't express any opinion about any living poet except T.H. [Thomas Hardy]'. Individuals mentioned include 'G.A' [Gabriel Atkin] and E.M.F. [E.M. Forster]. NB. One detached folio (for memoranda) housed separately.
