[11] 22 FEB 1916 Thanks for information about Canning portrait: thinks his is a copy. [12] 14 JUN 1921 (Foreign Office) Palestine is now under Colonial Office; thinks there might be a Middle Eastern service 'but the whole future of the Mandated Territories is rather obscure'; wishes Cust's son a brilliant career.
