'The Chronicle', 1867
Scope and Contents
Volume I, No. 1 30 March 1867 - No. 40, 28 December 1867. Includes an index at the front of the volume, which has been annotated to indicate articles written by Lord Acton. The Chronicle was established in 1867 as a weekly newspaper under the direction of T.F. Wetherell. Sir Rowland Blennerhassett provided the funds, with the support of Sir John Dalberg (later Lord Acton).
