Scope and Contents
- Working of barm. "in distilling new wine before fermentation, the flegm rises first, and then the spirit, but after fermentation, the spirit rises before he flegm." - Comparison of the fusibility of alloys of lead, tin and bismuth, in which is given as the most fusible an alloy of 5 parts lead to 7 of tin, to 12 of bismuth. - Other experiments.
