Scope and Contents
Correspondence from Clive Swift enclosing memorabilia relating to the 1959 production of 'Henry IV Part I', 'Henry IV Part II' and Love's Labours', all of which featured performances from Clive Swift. All three productions were mentioned in his one-man show 'Richard Bucket Overflows: An Audience with Clive Swift' performed at the ADC Theatre on 16 Dec. 2007. Contains performance photographs from 'Henry IV' featuring Clive Swift as Falstaff, Derek Jacobi as Hal and Ian McKellen as Shallow; photocopy of programme and two pages of the original script from 'Love's Labours', and a CD-ROM recording of the opening night of 'Love's Labours' performed at the ADC Theatre on 18 Jun 1959. The recording on CD-ROM is 51 minutes.
