Top of Mt. Mueller, 1901
Scope and Contents
152 x 110 mm. A view showing a rocky montain summit, with a small lake in the foreground. In the distance some horsemen may be seen. There seems to be a contradiction in the captioning on the reverse of the print. In pencil is written 'Top of Mt. Mueller. Lake in foreground where we got the ranunculi' (whether this refers to tadpoles or buttercups is unclear). In blue crayon is written 'Mt. Kosciusko, NSW'. Mt. Mueller is in Queensland, but this inscription would seem to be the original one, and therefore to be believed.
