'Cabrits', Portsmouth Bay, 1900
Scope and Contents
231 x 167mm. A view looking out into the bay with the two hills called the Cabrits silhouetted against the sky. It is at the Cabrits that the remains of Fort Shirley stand (where the British after struggling across the island continued the fight against the French after the fall of Roseau in 1805)
