Scope and Contents
241 x 178mm. Showing a path in the Gardens lined with trees and shrubs. A handwritten note on the back of the print reads, ‘The Garden covers an area of 48 acres and extends an equal distance beyond the farthest tree visible in the middle distance, and also away to the right of the picture, where in a depression the economic plants are cultivated. The offices, potting sheds and nurseries are situated at the back of the foliage behind the gardener and are screened by that belt of trees. On the left hand is seen the children's recreation ground.’
