Kalk Bay - rocks on beach. Miss Ogilvie, 1863 - 1867
Scope and Contents
139 x 69 mm. A view looking along the shore of Kalk Bay, with fingers of rock reaching out into the sea and a headland in the distance. The reference to Miss Ogilvie is unclear, but presumably the view was taken from or near her house. A note in C.W. Busk's hand adds: 'Miss Ogilvie, afterwards Mrs. Philpot, was the sister of Canon Ogilvie (Gog), Head Master Dio: Coll. [Diocesan College at Rondebosch]'.
